Dream Day Weddings
Cheryl is the Commander and Chief of Dream Day Weddings; she runs the show, creates all the ceremonies, schedules the Wedding Officiants and handles all of the Event Planning & Consulting.
She also a night owl who drinks too much Red Bull, a Mom to three daughters and when she has time she’s an accomplished mosaic glass artist and decorative hardware designer.
“I spent over 25 years in Corporate America and became a highly sought after Executive Assistant with some major corporations.
Planning corporate events, organizing schedules, working with their contracts and expenses honed my natural detail-oriented skills razor sharp but in wasn’t very fulfilling.”
In 2004 Cheryl changed paths, moved from the NW suburbs of Chicago to SW Michigan and became an Ordained Wedding Officiant. One strange twist of fate and a great story later she began to write and perform wedding ceremonies for couple’s who were looking for unique contemporary weddings and dogma-free marriage ceremonies.
“I’m an admitted girly-girl, I absolutely L-O-V-E weddings; I truly enjoy working with couples to create a personal and meaningful ceremony that’s right for them; one that uniquely celebrates the love they share. My one and only goal is for both people to have the wedding they’ve been dreaming of!”
After a few years and performing a few hundred ceremonies I learned first hand from my couples how difficult it was for them to find everything they wanted; especially when they were doing all the planning from out of state. Without knowing the area or the right people to call you’ll spend countless hours on the internet searching for the right venue or vendors, if you find them at all.
I think EVERYONE should have their dream wedding so I paired my extensive planning background with my local knowledge and created Dream Day Weddings, Modern Wedding Officiants and Event Consulting; to help loving couples find, get and have the wedding or event they want!
